Indian Honey Brands Fail Quality Test; Dabur, Patanjali In List
Major honey brands in India like Dabur and Patanjali have come under scrutiny after a report alleged that their products are adulterated with modified sugar syrup. Reportedly, 10 of 13 Indian brands failed in molecular composition-tracking Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) test while three did not even match Indian quality standards. However, the companies have refuted the allegations by saying that the report seems "motivated" and "a plot to defame Indian natural honey industry".
