Neeraj Chopra becomes the first Indian athlete to bag gold at Tokyo Olympics in men’s javelin throw on August 7. His second throw of 87.58 metre in the finals ended India’s 100 years wait to overcome the track and field medal at Olympics. PM Narendra Modi took to Twitter saying, “History has been scripted at Tokyo! What @Neeraj_chopra1 has achieved today will be remembered forever".
