Indian Railways Crosses Pre-COVID Freight Loading Figures
The Indian Railways on March 12 stated it has crossed the pre-COVID freight figures recorded in March 2020. The Railways has already carried 1,145.68 million tonnes of goods this year, about 0.07 million tonnes more than the last year. Moreover, the ministry is expecting to cross 1,209 million tonnes by the end of this fiscal year.
