Indian Women Boxers Win Five Gold Medals At Montenegro's Tournament

Indian women boxers bagged five gold medals in the 30th Adriatic Pearl Tournament held in Budva, Montenegro. Notably, with 10 medals, India topped the tournament’s medal tally followed by Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic. While Babyrojisana Chanu, Arundhati Choudhary, Alfiya Pathan, Vinka, and T Sanamacha Chanu clinched gold, boxer Lucky settled with a silver. Moreover, while Vinka was awarded the 'Best Woman Boxer of the Tournament,' and men's teams contingent landed second with 12 medals.
