India’s First Centralized AC Railway Terminal Set To Open In Bengaluru
The Railways will soon inaugurate India's first-ever centralized AC railway terminal at Baiyappanahalli, Bengaluru. Spreading over 4200 sqm, the Sir M Visvesvaraya Railway Terminal will cater to a daily footfall of 50,000 passengers. Besides handling 50 trains/day, the Rs 314-crore worth modern coaching terminal promises an airport-like experience with passenger amenities like a VIP lounge, food court, and digital real-time passenger information system along with a 4,00,000-litre capacity water recycling plant.
