India's First CNG Tractor Unveiled By Union Minister Nitin Gadkari

Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on February 12 launched India's first retrofitted CNG-powered tractor jointly developed by Rawmatt Techno Solutions and Tomasetto Achille India. Capable to save Rs 1.5 lakh annually on fuel costs, the green tractor causes 75% less pollution as compared to the conventional one. However, price of the CNG kit has not been revealed by the company yet. Meanwhile, Gadkari expressed his willingness in establishing more retrofitting centres for such tractors.
