India's First Sandalwood Museum Set To Be Opened In Mysuru Palace
India's very first 'sandalwood museum' is set to be inaugurated after November 25 in Karnataka's Mysuru Palace by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa. Karnataka is renowned for its sandalwood soaps, sandalwood oil and incense sticks among others. The museum will showcase the capabilities of sandalwood and spread awareness about the history and the cultivation of sandalwood products across the state. It will also have an auditorium and a projector screen.
