India's High Jumper Praveen Kumar Bags Silver At Tokyo Paralympics
At the Tokyo Paralympics, India's Praveen Kumar has won a silver medal in the men's high jump T64 event for the country on September 3. Kumar, who has a leg amputation and uses prosthetics to compete in a standing position, also broke the Asian record with a 2.07m jump at the event. In the competition, Great Britain's Jonathan Broom-Edwards and Poland's Maciej Lepiato won gold and bronze, respectively.
