IndiaÔÇÖs term of non-permanent member in UNSC for eighth time, starts from Jan 1, 2020

Making it to the UN Security Council for the eighth time in history, India will once again be a non-permanent member of UNSC. Of the 193 members of the UN General Assembly, 184 of them voted for IndiaÔÇÖs inclusion. Ireland, Mexico and Norway have also been selected as non-permanent member. IndiaÔÇÖs term in the UN will start from January 21, 2021.
