Inflammatory Syndrome Linked to COVID-19 Damages Children's Heart: Study
A study revealed that children, who develop Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome (MIS-C) after COVID-19, can suffer severe long-term effects on their hearts. Reportedly, this may cause damages to the children's heart, mandating continuous monitoring for the lifetime. The study, which was published in 'EClinicalMedicine', said that MIS-C can develop in children, who seem to be healthy, after three-four weeks of COVID-19 infection.
