IOC Chief Urges Vaccination For Players, Spectators Before Tokyo Olympics

International Olympics Committee Chief Thomas Bach stated that contestants and spectators should be vaccinated before attending the Tokyo Olympics. After a meeting with Japanese PM Yoshihide Suga, Thomas said that the measure would protect the people in Japan. He added, "This makes us all very confident that we can have spectators in the Olympics stadium next year." The delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics will begin from July 23, 2021.
