ISRO Successfully Launches Earth Imaging Satellite 'EOS-01'

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on November 7 successfully launched the latest earth observation satellite ‘EOS-01’ and nine other from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. The satellites were launched by Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C49) which lifted off at 3:12 PM. The ISRO’s first mission of 2020 also carried customer satellites from Lithuania, Luxembourg and USA. ‘EOS-01’ has been developed to help in the areas of  forestry, agricultural and disaster management.
