IT Deptt Raids Anurag Kashyap, Tapsee Among Others Over Tax Evasion

Properties linked to actor Taapsee Pannu and director Anurag Kashyap were raided by the Income Tax department, on March 3 over alleged cess evasion. Moreover, the IT department team had raided 30 locations, including production houses of filmmakers Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane, and Madhu Mantena. An official said, "The movies produced by the production house have been superhit, but the profits and account statements of the company are showing disproportionately low income.”
