Jhansi Railway Station Renamed As 'Veerangana Laxmibai Railway Station': UP

After getting the approval of the central government, the Uttar Pradesh Government changed the name of Jhansi railway station to Veerangana Laxmibai railway station, on December 29. "The 'Jhansi Railway Station' of UP will now be known as 'Veerangana Laxmibai Railway Station," announced CM Yogi Adityanath on Twitter.  Earlier, the Mughalsarai Station was renamed as Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Faizabad as Ayodhya, and Allahabad as Prayagraj in UP.
