Jharkhand Woman Allegedly Forced To Take COVID Vaccine Jab, Dies

A 72-year-old woman, Devmani Dev, from Jharkhand's Orsa Path village died on March 23, just two days after being administered with the COVID-19 vaccine. Devmani's grandson Ranbir Yadav has claimed that local health workers pressurized his grandmother by saying that if she avoided the inoculation then she would not be given ration and pension. However, the Latehar District Administration has denied the allegations and said that the deceased was suffering from hypertension and cardiovascular issues.
