Jio Plans To Build Largest Global Submarine Cable Network

Telecommunication company Reliance Jio on May 17 announced that it will be building the largest submarine cable network to cater to the growing data consumption demand. The company has partnered up with a submarine cable supplier, SubCom, to construct two subsea cables with India at the center. The two cable systems, named the India-Asia-Xpress and the India-Europe-Xpress, will connect India to Singapore and Europe respectively to enhance consumer accessibility.
