Joe Root Becomes First Cricketer To Score 200 In 100th Test Match
England Skipper Joe Root's knock of 218 runs (377 balls) against India on February 6, made him the first batsman to score a double-century in 100th test appearance. With this achievement, Root became third Englishman to score a century at 100th test. Moreover, Root equalled Australia's Don Bradman as he scored 150+ runs in three consecutive test matches. Reportedly, this was Root's fifth double-century and third as England's captain.
