Johnson & Johnson Plans To Split Into Two Companies
Healthcare giant Johnson & Johnson announced its plans to split into two different companies on November 12. The company will split its health division that sells Band-Aids and Baby Powder from its large pharmaceuticals unit, reported Reuters. The move came after multinational companies such as Toshiba adopted the same business strategy to simplify their structure. The separation is expected to be completed within 18 to 24 months.
