Journalists From 3 Press Clubs Stage Protest Against Arrest Of Fellow Journalist: Pakistan

In Pakistan's Khyber district, journalists from three press clubs staged a protest on May 16, demanding the release of fellow journalist Khadim Khan Afridi. The journalists protested against the arrest of Khadim Khan Afridi by Counter-Terrorism Department on May 13. Protestors alleged that intelligence agencies arrest innocent people under the pretext of terrorism. They said that the police also failed to provide security to the journalists and public.
