Just 20-month-old Youngest Organ Donor Saves 5 Lives

Saving the lives of five people, a 20-month-old baby became India's youngest organ donor. The baby named Dhanishtha on January 11 was declared brain dead after falling from the balcony of her house in New Delhi. Her parents then decided to donate her heart, liver, both kidneys, and corneas to the five patients. Inspiring others to come forward and save lives, Dhanishtha's father stated, "Though we lost our child, our daughter will continue to live".
