Kamal Haasan Meets Rajinikanth Amid Rumoured Political Convergence

Ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly polls, actor-turned politician Kamal Haasan met superstar Rajinikanth on February 20 conjecturing to offer support. Surprisingly, the move came after Rajinikanth announced to quit politics in December. Meanwhile, Haasan's Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) will be holding inaugural function on February 21 for which he publicly sought Rajinikanth’s support. While Haasan will be accepting candidates through online application, he also cleared that non-party members can also apply or get nominated.
