Kanhaiya, 9 Others Issued Summons In 2016 JNU Sedition Case

The Delhi High Court on February 15 summoned all the accused, including Kanhaiya Kumar, in 2016 JNU sedition case for March 15. The Delhi Police's chargesheet has claimed that Kanhaiya led his counterparts for anti-India slogans on JNU campus in 2016 at an event marking terrorist Afzal Guru's execution. Reportedly, the trial was stalled earlier due to spat between the BJP and AAP as the former accused the latter of shielding the students.
