Karnataka: 10-year-old Boy Eaten By Crocodile While Herding Cattle

In a tragic incident, a 10-year-old boy was killed by a crocodile in Karnataka on December 1. The incident occurred when the boy named Mallikarjun R was herding cattle along with six other children on the banks of Krishna river. Reportedly, the police recovered the torso of the boy during search operation. The locals said around six crocodiles use the area as their habitat. Meanwhile, some villagers suggested re-opening of schools to avoid such tragedy.
