Karnataka: All-Women Garuda Team Gets Training For Anti-Terror Missions

Karnataka Police has recruited 16-woman from villages to deploy them in the all-women Garuda commandos team. Reportedly, the selected women are being trained to learn shooting, develop weapon-making skills, and handle terror in their pre-induction training under Centre for Counter-Terrorism, Bangalore. Besides, women from the Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) and the Karnataka State Industrial Security Force voluntarily have come forward to undergo the training.
