Karnataka: Dasara Celebrations Begin; COVID Warriors Felicitated

Karnataka's most celebrated festival, "Dasara" was inaugurated on October 17 by Dr Manjunath, who was selected in honour of the service of COVID warriors. The government has decided to keep the celebrations low-key this year and hence the festival began by CM Yediyurappa and Dr Manjunath offering flowers to goddess "Chamundi". COVID warriors were felicitated at the event and the rituals throughout the ten-day festival will be restricted to selected few.
