Karnataka Govt Turns Old Bus To Mobile Toilet For Women

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister, Laxman Savadi on August 27, inaugurated “Sthree Toilet”, which has been made after renovating an old Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus. The project was funded by the Bengaluru International Airport Limited, at a cost of Rs 12 lakhs. This solar-powered bus, Parked at Kempegowda Bus Station contains three Indian and two Western toilets, sanitary napkin machines, a baby feeding place and a diaper changing cabin.
