Karnataka High Court Issues Notice To BJP About Anti-Conversion Law

Anti-Conversion Bill debate resumed in Karnataka, with High Court (HC) approving PIL and sending notice to ruling BJP to issue ordinance to enforce legislation. HC asked government to file objections to PIL contesting government's decision on July 22. The appeal, filed from New Delhi by All Karnataka United Christian-Forum for Human Rights and Evangelical Fellowship of India, argued the law is an attack on democratic ideals that unify the country.
