Karnataka Hijab Row: Split Verdict Pronounced, CJI To Take Final Decision

The Supreme Court bench comprising Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia and Justice Hemant Gupta, failed to give a unanimous verdict in the Karnataka Hijab Row. While Gupta dismissed all the petitions filed by the students and upheld the Karnataka HC judgement, Justice Dhulia quashed the February 5 orders of the State Government. Now, with the split decision, the matter will be placed before CJI UU. Lalit for the final decision.
