Karnataka: IMD Announces Red Alert, Heavy Rainfall Expected

CS Patil, Director of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Bangalore informed that IMD has issued a 'red-alert' in parts of Karnataka for September 11. Areas like Uttara Kannada, Udupi, and Dakshina Kannada will receive a heavy rainfall. He notified an 'orange-alert' on September 10 and 12 and a 'yellow-alert' on September 13 for the areas. The state's capital has witnessed water logging along with heavy rainfall.
