Karnataka Launches Air Ambulance in Bangalore to Cater Critical COVID Patients
Karnataka CM B S Yediyurappa on September 8 inaugurated a first-of-its-kind air ambulance service in Bangalore. The ambulance which comprises of an isolation ward, a jet, a small plane, and a helicopter will be stationed at the city’s HAL airport. The service is being provided by the International Critical Air Transfer Team in collaboration with Kyathi, an aviation technology firm. It will cater to COVID-related medical emergencies in South India.
