The 27-year-old man Sooraj S Kumar accused of murdering her 25-year-old wife namely Uthra using a cobra was awarded a life sentence by a sessions court in Kerala on October 13. Reportedly, Kumar got a life sentence for murder, also 10 years for poisoning, and seven years of tampering with evidence. Besides, Kumar has to pay a whopping fine of Rs 5.85 lakh to the court as a punishment.
