Kerala Declares Public Holiday As It Braces For Cyclone Burevi
The government offices and public sector undertakings in five districts of Kerala will remain closed as the state braced itself for cyclone 'Burevi'. Thiruvananthapuram International airport will also remain closed on December 4 from 10 AM to 6 PM. A public holiday has been declared in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Idukki, Alappuzha, and Pathanamthitta. Meanwhile, election-related services, emergency-services, and disaster-services will function normally. Tamil Nadu has also declared a public holiday in six districts.
