Kerala Gets 90 'Centres of Excellence'; 5 Lakh New Students Join Government School

Kerala Government has designated 90 schools as "Centres of Excellence". Reportedly, the initiative was aimed to promote public-education-systems and the schools which were funded by KIIFB, NABARD and other government plans. CM Pinarayi Vijayan on October 3, also laid foundation to 54 more schools and said that the situation in government schools has improved and over five lakh new students had joined government schools in last three years.
