Kerala Minister K T Jaleel Resigns Over 'Nepotism' Allegation Report
Kerala's Minister of Higher Education and Minority Welfare, Dr. K T Jaleel resigned on April 13 after the Lokayukta booked him for abuse of power. Reportedly, the anti-corruption ombudsman accused him of nepotism after Jaleel appointed his second cousin in the Kerala State Minority Development Finance Corporation. However, over opposition’s resignation demand, Jaleel posted on social media calling the allegations as ‘unjustifiable witch hunt’.
