Kids On Social Media Likely To Develop Problematic Behaviour: Study

In a recent study published on Computers in Human Behavior, it was found that children below 11 years of age who joined Instagram or Snapchat were subjected to problematic digital behaviours compared to those who joined at 13 or older. The study covered 773 middle schoolers in Northeast US. Reportedly, parental restrictions on Phones and social media helps in reducing the negative impact on children.
