KL Rahul's Scintillating Century Aids Punjab to Defeat Bangalore
The limelight in IPL 2020's sixth match was stolen by Kings XI Punjab's skipper KL Rahul, who scored a scintillating century. Rahul scored an unbeaten 132 runs off 69 balls with embellishing his inning by 14 fours and 6 sixes. With Rahul's inning, Kings were able to put a target of 207 runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), which the later could not achieve. Rahul's inning was also blessed by RCB captain Virat Kohli's poor fielding, who dropped two catches of the Kings' player. RCB, while chasing the target, stumbled in the beginning of its inning and could not recover afterwards. Three RCB batsmen were back to Pavilion at the score of 4 runs. Besides, Bangalore lost wickets at regular intervals and was all out at the score of 109, losing match by 97 runs. After this stellar performance, KL Rahul carries the 'Orange Cap' of this IPL season.
