Koo Gains $30Mn Funding Amid Govt-Twitter Dispute
Indigenous social media platform Koo on May 26 announced to have bagged $30 million funding from US-based firm ‘Tiger Global’ amid Twitter's spat with the Centre. Koo, having 60 lakh active users, said the funds will be utilised for strengthening engineering, product and community efforts across all Indian languages. The company's CEO, Aprameya Radhakrishna, said, "We have aggressive plans to grow into one of the world's largest social media platform."
