Lakshadweep Residents To Hold 12-Hour Hunger Strike Against Reforms

Protesting against the recent contentious reforms made by the Lakshadweep administration, residents of the UT will observe a 12-hour hunger strike on June 7. Reportedly, BJP members will also participate in the strike organised by 'Save Lakshadweep' - an all political party forum. Appointed as Administrator of Lakshadweep in December 2020, Praful Khoda Patel had recently introduced three drafts, regulating anti-social activities and banning beef.
