Lancet Issues Warning Regarding 'Tomato Flu' In India
Doctors are warning the public about a new sort of hand, foot, and mouth disease called "Tomato flu" that is spreading throughout India. According to Lancet Respiratory Journal, it has afflicted 82 children under the age of five. It was initially reported in Kerala and later in Odisha. The infectious condition is caused by intestinal viruses, and the symptoms are high fever, body discomfort, joint swelling, and exhaustion.
