Lionel Messi to stay at Barcelona until 2021

A clause in Lionel MessiÔÇÖs contract in 2017 tied him to Barcelona until 2021 has expired. The clause included a break clause for the summer of 2020 that allowed him to leave the club for free, should he notify the board by June. The clause has now expired without Messi communicating a decision to the club, meaning he will stay.
