Lockdown in Maharashtra Extended till October 31
Maharashtra Government has extended the lockdown in the state till October 31. However, the state has provided certain relaxations. Restaurants will be allowed to resume dine-in services with 50% occupancy, starting October 5. The dabbawalas have been allowed to commute in local trains and the railway officials have been directed to increase the frequency of trains in Mumbai. Reportedly, the Government has also permitted the operations of local trains in Pune.
