Lok Sabha Passes Wild Life (Protection) Amendment Bill-2021

Lok Sabha passed the Wild Life (Protection) Amendment Bill-2021, with amendments like the principal Act for better management of protected areas for wildlife.  Furthermore, the bill also mentions the explanation for certain activities like grazing bona fide and others for wildlife protection. Passed on August 2, the bill was moved by Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav, who asserted that development and environment protection go together, without any conflict.
