For Albin, it was love at first sight and so was it for Benny

Love at first sight

As Albin Mathew walked into the posh cafe, he sat in a corner seat and opened his laptop. He had a lot of pending tasks to complete.

Suddenly, he noticed a man looking at him who slowly came towards his table and asked if he could sit with him. He introduced himself as Benny Cherian. For Albin, it was love at first sight and so was it for Benny.

This followed by an exchange of numbers and addresses. They soon began to meet each other post work. Both were techies and therefore their discussions would last for hours. At the same time, their love grew deeper.

But every fairytale has a struggle and theirs' was their families who would not accept the relationship. Things started becoming difficult until they chose to move out of their homes and move in together.

Today, the two share a lovely apartment where there's nothing but a lot of love and dreams. They are waiting to get married but as Albin says, they are now enjoying the pre-marriage period. Benny says that every gay couple needs the support of their families and friends to move forward in life.

They may have achieved happiness but both say that they miss their families the most.
