Lupin Launches Oral Drug For Treating COVID-19: Molnupiravir

Molnupiravir, an oral antiviral drug for the treatment of COVID-19, has been launched by drugmaker Lupin in India, on January 7. The drug has been given approval by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) for emergency use in adults. ''The approval is timely as India is again experiencing an upward spike in COVID-19 Incidences,'' said Rajeev Sibal from Lupin.
