Madras High Court Terms Admission Of 65 Doctors Illegal
Madras High Court on October 7 cancelled admission of 65 doctors in Postgraduate and diploma courses from May 2017. The court also imposed Rs 30 lakh fine on six colleges of Puducherry. Justice Venkatesh said this will give strong message to the rules-violating medical institutions that use the delayed counselling loophole to fill self-financing seats. Earlier, the Medical Council of India in 2018 had asked the colleges to cancel admissions.
