Maha Govt Orders Probe Against Tweets By Lata Mangeshkar, Sachin

Maharashtra government has ordered an investigation against recent tweets by celebrities including Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar. Earlier, several Indian celebrities had tweeted in support of united India with the hashtag #IndiaAgainstPropaganda after Rihanna, Greta Thunberg, and Mia Khalifa tweeted supporting farmers’ protests. Ordering for investigation, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said the motive is to check whether the Indian celebs tweeted under any pressure from Centre or they came up on their own.
