Maha: Mayor's Bungalow To Be Converted Into Bal Thackeray Memorial

The Mayor's Bungalow in Mumbai will be renovated into the Balasaheb Thackeray Memorial as the state cabinet approves Rs 400 crore-project on March 1. Spread over 1,19,130 sq. feet, the project will be completed in two phases i.e., Rs 250 crore for construction and Rs 150 crore for technological installations. Reportedly, the building will comprise a library, art gallery, archives, museum shop and water fountain along with cafes, artisan rooms and office.
