Maharashtra: 2 Low-Intensity Earthquakes Rock Palghar Back to Back
On September 5, two earthquakes, one measuring 4.0 magnitude and the other measuring 3.6 magnitude rocked Maharashtra's Palghar district in a span of half an hour. The tremors were felt in the wee hours between 11.41 PM at Dahanu Tehsil and 12.05 AM at Talasari Tehsil. Though there were no casualties reported, villagers ran out of their house following the tremors, and stayed out for sometime, due to fear.
