Maharashtra: CM Visits Flood-Affected Areas; Provides Financial Aid

To inspect the flood situation in the Solapur district, Maharashtra, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray visited the areas and met the residents on October 19. He also extended financial aid to the people of the flood-affected area of Rampur village through cheques. Reportedly, several parts of Pune like Uruli Kanchan and Valati village also witnessed floods due to heavy downpour on October 18 night.
