Maharashtra Congress Leader Balasaheb Thorat Submits Resignation
Maharashtra Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader Balasaheb Thorat submitted his resignation to the Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge. In his letter dated February 7, Thorat expressed his disappointment with the party, saying he cannot work with Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole due to his "anger" towards him. He also mentioned that he felt "humiliated" and a "vicious campaign" was run against him to portray that he was aligning with the BJP.
